Who Can Help?
The rural regeneration officers form the basis of the scheme's support structure. Each of the officers has responsibility over a certain sector of the initiative, which is divided as follows:
Their role is to provide a guiding hand to new and existing community groups, encouraging and advancing ideas throughout each and every stage of the project's development. If you are not sure which of the four themes your project fits into then simply contact the office and speak to any of the four officers.
Examples of support could be….
- Use of research to identify the needs of the community.
- Creation of forums for like-minded community groups.
- Building of skills and co-operation amongst existing and emerging groups.
- Support of developing ideas and aspirations into viable projects.
Through their work, the officers aspire to make the rural Vale a collection of co-operative communities all sharing the goal of making the area a better place to live, work and play. |
